Hanoi is the elegant capital city of Vietnam sprawling its way along the Red River banks. There are many lakes, parks and leafy quarters which make the city just freshly green all year round. Ha Noi was first built in 1010 by King Ly Thai To who checked and found out that Feng-shui here was exceptionally good for the prosperity of the kingdom that time; Ha Noi was called Thanh Long meaning "the city of ascending dragons" then.
I'm going to take inspiration from an user's question to briefly explain how to create maps on Google Maps with our GPS tracks and then insert them on the blog. To understand what I am talking about, you can see an example down here or have a look to the section of the MTB itineraries on this website: each itinerary has a Google Maps track displayed above the description.
If you practice mountain biking, you know maintenance and regular checks of the vehicle are fundamental. Sometimes, with a bit of attention, we realize that the wheel rim is touching the brake pads. This is due to a bad alignment of the wheel that makes it not centered: a stone on the road, a fall or just a normal loosening could be enough. In the following video we'll see how to bring our wheel back into proper alignment.
From my point of view, it is one of the most underrated accessories for bicycle touring: bicycle racks, both front and rear, when you're travelling, is fundamental; choosing the right one can save you from many jams. A too fragile one may break after a few kilometers, on the other side an heavy one may add unnecessary weight to the bike – in addiction to the luggage. In this article I'll make an overview on bike racks suited for those who are going to front a bike trip, considering the type of travel, and considering what the market does offer too.
